Another SEO question
« on: April 02, 2009, 03:51:10 pm »
One Swindon company has cleaningswindon.co.uk which directs back to their own site and they always get top three position (ish) if you google 'cleaning swindon' or 'swindon cleaning'

If I was to do the same, e.g. buy buying cleaning-swindon.co.uk or cleaningswindon.net and directed it back to my site, would this help me achieve something similar?

It's all a bit complicated   >:(

Hi mate,

Buying a website domain under a desired search word, will increase your chances dramatically of being found top of google under that search. However google takes several aspects into account and doing this is just a short cut all be it an effective one.

I'm currently doing my own Seo as my brother has a degree in internet advertising, but it eats a lot of your time. My brother uses a company called nettrackz to help him do his. They charge, but iv herd their first session is free. My brother swears by it, but I'm not sure.

Have you paid for online ads yet?

Hope this helps

Dan
