Prochem Fibre Shampoo
« on: February 03, 2010, 05:03:46 pm »
Got some of the above recently and been impressed with the results as a prespray on grubby carpets. A bit foamy but can live with that.
Was using some yesterday for exactly that when the customer asks about a urine stain on her mattress left by a child  :-\

Expensive memory foam type, less than a year old, off white colour, happened some time ago and she's tried cleaning it with vanish.
Told her I was a bit reluctant to use moisture on it as it would soak straight in so tried the foam from the Fibre shampoo on a section of it and the stain literally disappeared with a rub of the cloth. Did the same with the rest of the stain and then vacuumed when I'd finished the carpets.
Customer was over the moon, asked me to add it onto my bill plus gave me £15 to "get yourself a drink" tip as well.

Not tried on any other serious carpet or upholstery stains yet but might be worth being in mind for anyone with a urine stain.
