There i was thinking i was going to look responsible, caring, all i was , was the bloke that got salt on there carpets

that's exactly what worries me with the salt issue, surely it must mess or even stain carpets?

I suppose the only thing you can say is with all the snow and ice down on ground, were just a drop in the ocean.

Was using table salt on friday , used it because of steep steps , worked great , went back today to collect and got moaned at by 50% of them , perhaps i will just let them all take a tumble next time !

Next time i will put a bit of money away each week in prep for the big freeze.

Customers are funny... I've been putting grit down since middle of December (have run out now however) and I've got so many appreciative comments, thank you texts, and even tips for it! Will have to get some more grit on Monday :P
