[Blue Frog Systems]

Would like everyones view on the internal window cleaning kits for sale. Am thinking of getting one, but would like other peoples take on it.

Have you used one ?
What do you make of it ?
Easy to use ?
Worth the money ?
Does it come with enough acessories ?
Does it become a hassel on large windows ?
If you have not used one, have you considered it ?

I bought one a month ago, told it was quicker,etc,etc.
Open minded I thought I'd give it a go.
Used it once on the inside of a medium sized home for the elderly.
Glass panels all up the stairs, I thought it would be great to whip over the lot and get finger prints and dust off.
Found the whole thing a bit unweildly, persevered and got more of a knack for it.
However, overall I thought it did an approximate job, no where near a skilled mop, blade and decent microfibre or scrim.
My customers are used to high standards and are 95% domestic, therefore I have gone back to traditional methods for inside work and the Vikan Easy Shine is stuck back on the shelf at base, probably unlikely to see action again.
Wish I had waited for Windex and researched more.

Bought the vikan easy shine kit, Tried it once so far though as commercial stuff finished till new year.
I bought it for commercial use, and the time saving i thought it would bring, this we will find out!

Not overly impressed with the rigidity of the swivel neck & pad, and i won't hold my breath about it lasting long, but again i will give it some time as a fair trial.
Can't say if its worth the money yet as we haven't used it enough yet.

What else is there on the market that can reduce internal window cleaning time? With clients always looking for the cheapest quote, all you can do is try to be more efficient, or start to do a lower quality clean (missing windows etc, this is something we will not do, but we see alot of companies do).

Would i buy one? well anything is worth a go to speed up internal cleaning! i can't say i enjoy it, prefer to be outside in the sub zero temps!!

I got one i clean internal shops and find its good to maintain  them once you have got the windows clean, just get the dirty bits,  only thing to find out is can the cloths be washed, if not then it will be to expensive to run, also abit hard to use at any speed, if you have alot of windows to clean i think you would use trad. Good for when no water mess wanted

is it just me or is there any of u who DONT do insides?i dont bother,too much hassle,if they ask i say yes but i charge double the outsides!that usually puts them off.though i would do them if its bouncing down outside at the time!!im talking domestics only here.

I've bought one, not used it much.
Looks like it would need to be a bit more sturdily built to last for long, considering the amount of pressure you need to put on the windows.
 I found I was using a lot more effort than when squeegying.
 I too, bought it thinking it would save time on big commercial jobs, as I have never been the fastest with a squeegie.
So far I have used it in conjunction with a solvent spray, and it seems to have done a good job on the windows, but I don't think it will trouble " Turbo Terry "
