I plan to get leaflets done 5000 with web address on, so need to make website, read tosh's thread.

want to door knock and leaflet in spring, extend clean time from ave 5 weeks to 6 weeks.

Charge more for new work and compact my round then go back and push up prices on old work gradually, hopefully always have more work than needed to absorb casualties i may get from price rise.

I'm not being greedy this old work is under-priced compared to newer stuff.

I talk a good fight; but it's now time to do it.

I have had a series  of  things go wrong on van and with no savings/plan or pension in place, this has really given me awake up call.

I'm tired of saving up for my next bill and really think i should be doing better,

having a bigger customer base will make me feel better and give me more confidence in putting prices up.

I won't be so worried of losing custy's or dropping them if i'm actively getting new work regularley.

ill be starting the new year debt free for the first time in many years!all payed off in the last 2-3 years!i was hoping my brother would lend me some money for van/WFP but thats not on the cards.the bank wont lend me a bean so its saving up and working hard then!im saving for the van first then full van mount system!.probably take me all 2010 to get the money together for both.van june/july time.WFP changeover jan 2011.i could prob save 2,500 by end of may and get a cheap van/wfp set up but i think itll be false economy.i think itll be much better to save a bit more and get a better van say 4-5yrs old for £3000 then get a fitted 400lt DI only system with van ports and go straight for a 25ft SLX pole as my main pole.spares like pumps/connectors/tool kit etc.as i want the van/system to last me bout 5 years!so im not changing vans every year or two.also i think vans around the 1500 mark usually have been battered a bit and could cause me undue hassle etc.especially with a 400lt tank full of water in the back!
price higher/work harder!
