Splitting your work up, do you do it???
« on: November 22, 2009, 07:09:33 pm »
A dilema for you all.

Rain during the week has seriosly hampered your work schedule and as a result only half the houses in a large street/estate has been cleaned.

They're all 4 weekly customers and by Saturday close of play they're still only half done.

Do you .....................

A: Do them the following week and then leave the first half 'til a week after they should be done next month, thus levelling the whole street up again or

B: Leave the secong half of the street for an entire month 'til your due there again.
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

the answer is A ,because in the next 4 week you can have the same problem and then all your work will be back together,i just roll my work so it follows on in the same order if i slip behind it all slips behind

I would do the second half this coming week, and clean them again, when the first half is due again.

its only in a few months in summertime that i get round bang on time!its just a case of putting one foot in front of the other and doing ur round in the same order for me.some 8 weekly stand alone accounts i fit so there bang on time.the rest are usually 4 -6 wks in winter during bad weather.the nature of the job means we are constantly rescheduling that why i think this george program might just complicate matters for me.notebook, pen and diary have worked well for 15 yrs!good for printing invoices out though rather than writing them out.just have to see how it goes!maybe a palm thing would be better?

best wishes to u all
