That's business I guess. If you can secure the work at a price you're happy with then more power to your elbow. But to slag off another business just because they have the cheek not to agree with your pricing policy makes you look a bit of a tit in my opinion.

I don't care what other window cleaners in Plymouth charge; we're not the cheapest nor are we the most expensive but we're happy enough with what we charge 'cause it brings us a decent standard of living with no financial worries. My opinion on the initial post is that he's just a bit miffed at losing the job in the first place ::)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

Yep, probably.
I'm doing a lot or work outside St.Helens now (only started a few months ago) but getting some nice prices by picking the right area's and houses and careful planning, unlike Mr.Platinum running round his £3 - 4 jobs all day ::)

I know where he lives.
I guess now I know why he lives there, and not somewhere nicer.  ;D
you a snob or what,i live in a terrace not in the best part of town but its paid for,i dont move for a reason ,one being im into my 5th week of work due to illness but ive no money worries like you might have in your nicer house
I guess I mean that after all the years, he's been a windy should be better off than he is, but the reason he's not is because he's always undercharged. If he wants to always be skint then that's his lookout

And as you don't know the areas I mean you don't know what you're talking about...

And by the way my house is well within my means, and very ordinary, thank you for asking

The best thing about the whole saga is that, if he has gone in low thinking 'I'll put it up next year' he's in for a shock.
They are going to do a pricing exercise with three quotes every year.  ;D ;D ;D

Do you intend to be one of the quoters?  Probably not from what you've written

Yeah, thanks for that.
I think I was miffed because a sensibly priced job has been massively underpriced.
Of course I was miffed, whereas you of course wouldn't be.
What are you? The Dalai Lama ::)
