LTT do their leather courses in Harrogate and although its a bit out of your area you could try Cleansmart in Nottingham for upholstery.

I just googled      Leather cleaning training

First one after sponsored links is Furniture Clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne, 2nd one is LTT - Leather Technical & Training in Harrogate - on your doorstep.
Both good companies.

From the NCCA website if you had gone to Associate Members you would have found LTT listed there as well.

yeah thats what i'm looking for my husband to go on, the 4 day course. But seems a bit prices to me. How much did you pay in total for it? And as to do with upholstery and stain removal cource i will be going on one of them in the new year. As regards to NCCA husband heeds to go on it anyways so we can apply for their merbership etc.

i was fortunate to get a management training grant and the course was funded by proskills . worth looking into it and judy at ltt can help you through it. depends on funding available in your area though but no harm in trying.

course is well worth doin and will pay for its self in no time if you market it correctly. I especially enjoyed the fact that the course was more or less 100 % hands on.

Not knocking the ncca course because it was very usefull but it is nearly all theory and when i had no experience when i took the course it was too much to digest in 2 days. but being in that enviroment with some experiences cc s is a good thing as they bring their knowledge to the table.

Cleansmart training is good and derek bolton the course tutor is great chap and helped me no end after the course with advice.

you will need to look up pro skills or train to gain and they will put you in touch with your local agent. a lot depends on funding available in your area. but if the course is only 300 special offer i think that is good price for what you will get return from it.  ncca is useful and i am a member but dont think being a member will make the phone ring cause it wont . so if you are doin the ncca course becuse you want membership i would look into doin ilrc instead and you can then join ncca with that plus you have two badges instaed of one.
