I keep it in the van and have used it a couple of times - well handy piece of kit to have - is about £4.50 a roll but worth every penny
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Get a roll of Self amalgamating tape its the same stuff, Available from Screwfix, toolstation, maplins etc, I used it myself on my tubing and also on my lay flat transfer hose and it works a treat.
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/34666/Sealants-Adhesives/Tapes/Building-Construction-Tape/NN-Self-Amalgamating-Rubber-Tape-19mm-x-10m?cm_mmc=GoogleBase-_-Datafeed-_-Sealants%20and%20Adhesives-_-NN%20Self%20Amalgamating%20Rubber%20Tape%2019mm%20x%2010m

The trick with this stuff is to stretch it when putting it on, doing it this way makes it fuse together.
