This afternoon, my pc crashed so badly it should have had a crash helmet on. I only just managed to get all "my documents" on a memory stick(in safe mode)After 3 or 4 hours, i've managed(with the help of my computer nerd mate) to do a complete reboot. I mean it was stripped to the bone and brought back to life. Anyways i've lost george completely. Luckily i do have internet backup with them(worth £12 guys, if you aint got it) Anyways,how do i go about requesting my serial number from the boys at George??? Also, what kinda proof will i need that i have in fact taken out "insurance" with them? Thanks guys

If you have a backup of George and you have already paid up then you just need to download and run the data restore program from the their website, and your serial number will be contained in the backup so you wont need it. I guess you just need to request your backup to be sent to your registered email address.

Data restore isn't working chris. I did manage to get a restore point onto my memory stick but when i tried using it.............nothing really happened. I have just emailed them asking them to forward serial number to my designated amail addy. I'm hoping that will be all they need. Thanks for your help anyways chris

did you have the george program running when you tried the restore? I think you need to shut it down before you run the restore program.

Yeh it was closed down bud. Still no joy. Like i say....i've emailed the lads.........they're probably out gettin smashed tonight or summet. NO doubt, they'll see this subject and let me know what to do, or like a said..........they got my email.....We'll get there. I've overcome worse things than this today
