Flyers have a return of 1-3% so 2,000 would get somewhere around, 20-60 customers.
If your looking at gaining substantial amount of customers you need to have 15-20,000 leaflets delivered.

So if you had an advertising paper with say an advert for 30 plus vat(black and white delivered to 30,000 homes that would be the best way, yes?  As my next step for generating a bit more?

Hi Matt,

I saw in another post that you are moving to new area and having large quantity of flyers delivered. Any results yet? Would love to know the outcome.

Placing an advert in the paper will have a lower return, not everybody reads the whole of the paper, so not everyone will see your ad.

I've decided to go for a Pure freedom set-up. I have seen the self fit options on ebay and just want to know if this is a good choice. Yes it would be nice to have it factory fitted but I'm trying to keep the expense down and to be honest, it doesn't look that difficult to do yourself.

Also, I have a berlingo van so would the 400litre system be ok weight wise. I believe payload for the berlingo is 600kgs.

I had a friends berlingo to use a month ago because mine was in the garage. I had a 500 litre tank it there with a 11l di vessel, 100m of microbore hose, carbon pole, bucket, points and a ladder on the roof. It was a pleasure to use (being as im in a astra van normally) It did sit a little low when the tank was brimmed but other than that it was great. It was a 1.9 non turbo to. If you do get pi**ed off with the mud flaps dragging on slopes just upgrade your rear springs to the 800kg version.

I will keep you posted on how things go, I should have my flyers by the middle of next week, and I am in the middle of negotiations with a few distribution companies.

Knock the door. People want to see who they will trust cleaning their windows. Two seconds of initial contact and all that.
