a difference in unger liquid?
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:44:16 pm »
I noticed a difference in Unger liquid a few months back and have being putting in a little more liquid to get the right consistency as usual. Off course this has meant I have been going through more. I think they have made it less soapy to gain more sales.

This just a suspicion, but I am now looking at different suppliers to see if I can get more for my pound with something similar.

Any suggestions?

GG4 I rest my case. The best left it to try others and ran back to it so quickley.I think yoiu are spot on about using more with ubger its down in all the liquid cleaning goods some times they thicken it up with salt to hide the truth.

Money is always a factor, but no, I just feel that I am now using allot more of it and would like to get something that's does just as good a job(as I am happy with the liquid) but is cheaper or last longer.

No Ladder, as you know, I live in Boxheadland. Unger are well known for peeing on peoples cornflakes, because they are subversive German gits. What they do, they pick on guys like me and you every now and again and send us duff batches of cleaning fluid. It's something to do with losing 2 world wars and a world cup. Go onto Fairy for a month and they will pick on someone else, then you can go back to Unger cleaning fluid.

Not alot of ppl know this ;D ;D ;D

Hi,

I have been using Window Cleaning Warehouse own brand from my usual Ettore squeegee off.  Never again,  I find it drags on the window & you have to use much more then Squeegee off.

I`m using it but still unsure whether I`d order more. You do need to use quite a bit to get it to work and it`s really thick. Don`t know if thats the reason.
I find most wc solutions do the job but the difference is usually how much soaping up you need to do. Really you need a wetter applicator and more   scrubbing with low sudding solutions. Also try a circular scrubbing motion.
They tend to be harder to get on the window than Fairy but if you can master them, the benefits are less detailing and wiping sills down.
Overall, it is ok ,a good price and better than Unger but wouldn`t say it was better than GG3/4.
