Envirodri handle locking mechanism
« on: September 26, 2009, 04:55:10 pm »
Went to use my Envirodri few days ago and the handle wouldn't release, i.e. stuck in an upright position making it unusable.
No matter what I did with the locking dial it wouldn't release so ended up forcing the handle so I could use.

When finished thought nothing of locking the handle in position for transport/storage again but tried to use today and had to do exactly the same thing, dial seems to be unable to unlock but will lock it in position okay.
Tried removing the casing but unable to get access to the locking mechanism.

Anyone experienced similar and got a solution before I try Envirodri, can do without having to send it back to be looked at.

I have the E40 and it can stick, i usually give it a squirt with WD40.
Once a week keeps it working spot on.

Tilt machine on to its side and spray onto shaft that mechanism sits on,
will work its own way down.
