« on: October 02, 2009, 04:56:37 pm »
shurflo backpack packed in today dont think it is battery because
tried spare and that was fully charged and still doesnt work.

was wondering if could be circuit board because it was working
fine first thing then suddenly stopped could get it to work if
put wire in certain position and turned the two connectors when
pushed together.

getting nothing now just the light comes on occasionally then immediatley
goes off.

also does anybody know if you can bypass the pcb ,got pack
apart btu to be honest havent got a clue at what im looking at :'( :'(

Gaz, if your sure its the board then Yes it can be bye-passed as the board is nothing but a speed controler for your pump so be aware that if you do bye-pass the board your pump will be running at setting 4 all the time.

Just had another read of your post and it looks to me that there could possibly be a break in one of the wires? so get a small piece of wire and use it as a jump lead from one battery terminal to the board and then try the other terminal, if you find it works then its the cable at fault.

So much esier if you have a multi-meter.
