Get tool from van, lift sofa, place tab underneath, do this in 4 corners, leave tool behind... think I'll stick with the arms

Cheaper to hire four Polish guys.

Just remember to pick them up the next day. ;D

This topic really is pathetic ;)   I mean to pay £50.00 for this nonsense is laughable. Even going to lidl for £1.99 takes the p.

Guys, you know those big long dangly things coming out of your shoulders....damng use them!!

All you " tough guys " won't be so tough after another ten years of lifting / twisting / straining. If an aid comes along that makes life easier use it.

If a bed settee needs two hands to lift and you're on your own these little gadgets are great.

All the " tough guys " I grew up with are mostly wrecked with arthritis or dead !

This includes me ( not quite dead ) but we showed off as young men by lifting blacksmiths anvils, logs  and large rocks. We knew nothing about arthritis, thought we were invincible !!

Anything to make life easier, work smart, and keep working longer.

I often refuse to move some items just not worth risk to back.

Not at £50 but defo at £1.99, or even a tenner.

Thats the trouble with Lidl/Aldi - they sell the stock and not back in again till goodness knows when.
