Had an enquiry for the above.

The customer was asking about specific machinery that we use. She mentioned "the little blue machine" didn't know what it was called that is used for this flooring. 

Explained we use a rotary with different brushes (soft & firm bristle) or pads.

I do a regular floor clean for a school of non-slip flooring and have done a few tiled floors but is this stuff more specialised cleaning? What's the best product to use?

She said there were no sratches or staining. She just had the same laid in her conservatory and wants to bring the kitchen/diner area upto the same clean standard.

When we clean travertine we use STS from Solutions.
STS benefits from a few minutes dwell time to soften the dirt.
We use a stiff brush on the rotary as a softer one will not get the dirt out of the holes.
When scrubbed and the slurry sucked up we damp mop with clean water.
When it is dry we buff with a dry pad to bring back the sheen.
I love cleaning travertine as it comes up so well and you cannot fail to make it look good.

This is a Limestone floor I'm doing today, i use Aqua mix products only, plus once cleaned you will need to seal the floor with an appropriate sealer. I use a scrubber with various brushes and hand brushes, a very powerful wet vac, once the floor is cleaned i leave for 12hrs then return to seal. This floor is having grout colorant applied tmro then two coats of sealer.
