They get a hands on demonstration of how to extend my pole and what the 'magic water' does that squirts out the end and if she asks nicely I'll do her insides too  ;D

I agree completely mate, and i have a lad doing downstairs with me and sometimes its costing me double!!  Yesterday i had 3 houses i wanted to do before dinner, and the first house chatted for so long i only got 2 of them done ... It is really frustrating yesterday everyone just wanted to chat i reckon i lost about £50.00 through getting paid whilst they chat about the flippin weather, but its a fine line between being busy, and keeping custies happy, thats why i find it hard to believe people can earn alot in 5-6 hours as the time you lose not working is alot, i think soetimes you must have to do 8 hours to work 6 !!!

I've had a couple of occasions where a custy had distracted me in the middle of a multipane window and I've missed a pane or not rinsed properly.  I usually notice just after I've packed everything away!!

I'm quite happy to chat but not while I'm actually working!

Whatever you do, dont stop working when they are talking to you. The minute you stop that it they have you

Talk to you like they have known you forever.  When all you want is your money.  Then dump you for a cheaper window cleaner.
