Stair tool
« on: September 13, 2009, 02:55:09 pm »
For some time now ive been using a single jet stair tool (heavy duty) with a 11006 spray tip in, i use it with my truckmount, but every so often it leaves stroke marks on some stair carpets, which cant always be brushed out, i generally turn psi down to about 300psi, is the jet too big or is it just the pesssure and heat causing these marks, or would changing the jet size help?

Bob
You put the question in the part of the forum where items for sale go - and thats items for sale be it carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing etc etc

Suggest you put it in the very top section which is for carpet cleaners.

Turn it down to 300 psi. What pressure do you normally clean at. I normally go for 200 -300 psi depending on what I am cleaning.

Are you trying to pressure wash the carpets?  :) I normally try to let the preyspray do the work. Aggitating when needed. I have never seen any benifit in going any higher than 300 psi but stand to be corrected.
