roger ramjets...HELP! prtty pls
« on: August 29, 2009, 01:31:32 am »
my lords and ladies of the empire,

only two problems cropped up this week, my 2 ramjet wand is now one roger ramjetless, one has stopped working...possible blockage?
                                                  AND
my one and only upholstery tool now permanently squirts  solution at me, as soon as i turn the pump on?

is there somewhere/someone who can save my sanity?   although i am frugal with the spondoolies, cost is not an issue in this case. a feasible solution is what i seek!   parts acquisition/suppliers/DIY advice/professional servicing???

regards baldrick x

Are you using powder rather than liquid chemicals and do you live in a hard water area, as in addition to clearing the jets / filters you have to know the cause of blockages.

The breakdown of solution hose or dirt in the solution tank are other possible causes

As Colin says the answer is really obvious..............

remove / clear / replace but bevery careful to avoid scoring the jet surfaces or you will get sprays squirting at all angles.

If you ARE using powder make sure its fully disolved on hot water before adding to the solution tank.

Your handtool is going to need a repair kit fitting, valve, springn and washer, usually not much more than a fiver and 2 mins work. As already said re the jet on the wand.
