giving customers credit
« on: August 25, 2009, 01:15:28 am »
i am not rich by any means, but i do have a safety net put by to keep me a float in these times of troubles, (credit crunch) ect, if you have custys for a few years you get to know them paying wise, usually its the lady of the house, who will answer, could you leave it until Monday, now i sense they are having difficulty, call it intuition, and i will say would you like me to call on the next clean, and the smile on there face says it all, i work with my custys, and the answer is work with them not to put pressure for payment, 10 out of ten pay me when they have it, pity we could not charge extra, but this is my way of securing my custys, how do you secure your customers

i have custys who pay in advance some who pay on the day others who leave the money out, custys who are invoiced and pay by cheque, and some who pay every second or third clean. you soon learn who to trust ,and who to dump, but you need to allow any and all payment methods. until they do the poopy on you, then you take it on the chin, dump them and move on eventually the cream rises to the top.
