Websites
« on: July 23, 2009, 03:41:12 pm »
I have been checking out the websites designed by Mark from DP Print and every one seems to get to the 1st page of google.
These websites are £149 and include Content Management systems so you can alter details yourself. Anybody who doesnt already have a website would be daft not to get one at this price.
Take a look

mine was the first Mark ever did, it was a bit of an experiment. it was on page 1 of google within a week, although my search terms were 'beverley' related so not a real lot of competition

but for £149 its not a bad deal.

Totally us at this! Mark will be copying someone’s (with permission) and only adding logo and some other small bits £149 is a bit steep  :'( ;D ;)

Check your meta data for a hidden link at the bottom of all the code. it will start href. Invisible links are very bad and this template definately used to stick hidden links back to their site which will harm your site. The site at the top of the page has no page rank and no alexa rank. There is an option to disable the link in the management section. Every site satrts out with an elexa ranking so it llooks like its not rated by them and they rate any old site

In reply to lens posting
No the content for each
page will be supplied by the customer so will
be unique.

The sites are 5 pages of your choice ie Carpet Cleaning Page
Upholstery Page - Rug Cleaning Page whatever you require.

The sites also include
Home Page
Contact us page
Photo Gallery
Links Page
Customer Comments
Newsletter sign up
(includes back end newsletter management)

The site is CMS so you can alter and change content as
you feel fit.

They also include 1 years Free Hosting and .co.uk registration
proceeding years hosting fee only £3.99 per month.

So to clarify Len the sites are totally unique to the individual as they supply the content

All you guys who do not have websites just do it. For this cost what can you lose, £149. You should get more than that per week in new business.
Sign up to one now, you know it makes sense.

Seems a fair price for what it is.

Where does the SEO come into it then, if you are position 9 on Google how are you going to get to position1?

A lot of us have been dealing with Mark at DP for years, not a jester that comes here there and everywhere.

Mark has just put together another site for us aimed totally at the commercial side of the business. It was completed in less than three days and cost £149.

Hi Phil

Nice looking site - as you say for £ 149 it's worth a punt.

Think I will be adding another site to my collection soon   ;)

Derek, for the price hes charging you could add a couple of sites. The beauty of these is you can alter the wording any time you like. If you have special offers at different times of the year you can put them in, no problem.
I really think that any carpet cleaner that doesnt take Mark up on this offer is losing out.
I have also had my other site SEO`d by Kev Loomes and it is performing much better now, so anyone looking at going down that road, Kev does a great job as well.
