In 10 areas round here I was constantly coming up in the top 5 for all of them.
Now I'm down to 12th in one and 25th in another.
Why does it throw up some business that is 15 miles away from the area.
Why do some companies come above me even when there business isn't carpet cleaning.
I change the look of my website round evey 2 - 3 weeks as someone suggested that would
keep me up there and it worked up till last week.
Confused.

I think sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason, maybe google just doesn't find backlinks one day and then it does the next.   Also when you first put up a site google artificially promotes it for a while which invariably means you get all excited then it drops down to its proper ranking and you get ped off.
