02 Customers - A Tip.

If you record a personal message on your voicemail (901), if you’re away on holiday for example. There is no chance of getting it back to the default message of the nice lady saying "Hello this is the O2 messaging service for 077---, please leave a message after the tone”

At least 5 engineers at 02 have told me that. I am now only able to record my own messages and that nice lady can never return to my phone :'(, it’s been over encrypted, they say.

I'm sure most of your customers think "It's that nice man Matt leaving us a personalised message that we can relate to"

"Hope he's having a nice holiday and I'll contact him after the date he says he's back from holidays."

Why the hell would you want the network's default recorded message for your business phone number anyway ?!?

Never say you are on holiday !! (well not till you are back anyway)

I always say I am working away from home on a big job this week, will not be back till .....

Why tell people you do not know that your home is not occupied?
Doing the best job in the world as well as I can

How will they know where you live! You could work from another location such as a warehouse, office. We do. Our invoices give company address not personal.

But I undertand if you work from home then its a good idea I suppose.
