i currently have a 100gpd ro system and am thinking of getting a merlin as
my pure water production is only about 175-180 ltrs over 24hrs........

my outside tap pressure is about 39psi.........

would a merlin be an advantage to have or should i stay with what i have got??

please help.......

Get a 300gpd ro mate,

Im sure you can get add ons for your 100gpd.

Whats your flow rate at 39psi?

Merlin's work best over 55psi,... TDS rises dramatically below this.

merlins r fine mate as long as yr psi is above 40 psi i have just brought a booster and gettting 60psi and am making the pure stuff in no time.....

I run my merlin at between 35 and 40 PSI.  Not ideal but it will have to do.  The TDS started at around 006.  I needed to restrict the waste for logistical reasons and the TDS climbed to around 015.   18 months later it is around 025.  I find this acceptable though obviously not ideal.  I would like a bit more pressure but I don't want to go down the pump route.  Due to the tank's setting, it is very important that there are no leaks or overflows.  I've already had one cut off switch fail on me so prefer to rely on a ballcock system for shut-off.
