I pay £220 for 30K

it cost me a good mornings work to have them printed & delivered. so as we work a 6 days week it cost me 1/12th of my weekly turn over . This is to keep a 2man team working 6days 8am-3pm

The delivery is the bit that gets me.  To even consider that sort of volume I would need to find a much cheaper method of distribution.  Around here even the really old boys who are out dropping leaflets want £50 cash per thousand (solus).

Mike - how do you distribute?

When you start out leafleting makes a lot of sense.

You have time on your hands, it costs you nothing but shoe leather to deliver and you get around your community.

As you get more business and the novelty wears off you either have to be very disciplined, throw money at distribution or get creative.

A good leaflet will help conversion which in turn means savings on distribution or increased work. So beyond that it's really how clever you are in your distribution because this is the biggest hurdle when scaling up.

Don't forget to drive traffic to your website with some sort of inducement, ideally requiring email capture.  ;)

You get a very good rate per 1000 though, the area that we have delivered when I share my leaflet with the shop are £23 plus vat per 1000.

I have just placed an add for a 1/4 of page for £33 per per month and just got 17 domestic cleans

After all magazines have been pushed out by the publisher it will be 5,000 so im looking gooood  ;D

Try it fokes it is better than yell, people dont pick up yellow pages to read but they do look through this directory!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Like all Advertising Community Mags work for some and not others

I just break even on my Community Mag Ad similiar circulation

What it means is I work for FREE.

Makes you think maybee giving away 200 square feet of Carpet Cleaning is not such a dumb American Idea after all

It's not so mad Ian is it?

When you think how hard it is to sell and how easy it is to let reciprocity work its magic.

Question is no one wants to be taken for a mug, do they?
