Hi all...
« on: July 09, 2009, 11:48:18 pm »
Not been on here for couple of months have I missed much anyone gone? Packed up etc...

Anyways I thought id come on for a moan I picked up a new customer last month I went back today for second clean and she said -  I must point something out to you its very frustrating, go on I say, Her: I have noticed some scratches on my sills and there wasn't any before you started cleaning my windows and I know this because I used to wipe them down, her implying that my brush had scratched her sills front and back, I replied that I dont use the brush to clean the sills and that I wipe them down afterwards with a cloth and I dont see how I could of done it and that I have never had any complaints before? She said well they wern't there before, I asked her what she would like me to do about it and she said she cant see that there is anything that I can do about it, I asked her if she was happy with the job overall and she said yes. I said ok sorry about the sills I will try n be more careful in the future see you next month...

I think the truth of the matter is before I started cleaning them the sills were that dirty that she couldnt see what was underneath the muck and she trying it on!

I wasnt having any of it!

Anyone else had this?

Some brushes can and do mark sills, its the stock of the brush that does it mostly at the bottom of the window when you use your pole vertically  :D they do polish out though as mark says, I've only used 3 different brushes Vikan, Salmon, and Ionics, and the Salmon caused problems.
