Hi Paul,

if you are refering to domestic house clean we do them. But only for commercialy owned clients. Not for general residential customers.

Prices will vary as you have to take into consideration how much cleaning is required. Obviously some places are far dirtier than others and some rubbish may have to be removed.

A kitchen on its own in a 3 bed house can take up to 3 hours to clean correctly. I dont mean a general wipe over I am talking about adding the "WOW" FACTOR.

Oven cleaning can add 2 - 3 hours.

Bathroom 1 - 2 hours

Bathroom shower doors will either be clean or covered in limescale so you need a good limescale remover. The tend to look at the kitchens and bathrooms toilets and expect them to be NEW, like they have just been installed.

Empty houses are quicker then ones with all the furniture in.

Some people want an hourly rate, some want as low as £13.00 ph NOT worth while in my opinion.

We charge around £20 - 35ph depending on what is required. Or a priced job. Minimum is £130.00 for a 2 bed flat, £165 3 bed house with 1 bathroom no shower, inc a shower and a bath then £200

Hope this is what you were looking for

Dave

how do i go about the mod places ie  how do i get in contact with the people who actually own the properties or do i approach the tenants ? or is there other agencies i approach that i dont know about, for instance is there any way of knowing when there going to move before hand as in mod.  just trying to get the 'know how'
to get the work, i suppose its the traditional ways i expect ( leaflets, advertising)

kind regards

paul

Well

We have done work for MoD in the past but along time ago. They contacted us. You have to have clearance - they will security check you / Your company if I remember correctly.

Best way is to write or telephone the barracks direct I would guess.

Do you know anyone in the Army? If so ask him who the best person would be to talk to in that area or office.

Most MoD places do not give out their addresses though. Except the recruiting branches.

MOD Houses are tenants, most places use the cleaners from the base.

Contact the base as if you are seen around areas such as this the MOD Police / MP's will on you.

Best to contact Accommodation manager at the base.

Hi Paul,

i spent 4 years working for the MOD cleaning all sizes of quarters, after the first one or two they become a breeze we had it of to a tee, and made a good wage from it we must of cleaned over 400 houses and 200 carpet cleans.

I got my foot in the door by putting flyers in letter boxes and knocking doors it may of helped that i was ex Army and knew what was needed.

We covered Sandhurst, Arborfield, shrivinham and hermitage prices ranged from 2 bed £240.00 3 bed £260.00 3/4 bed £300.00 this included cooker/oven and outside windows and carpet cleaning, we also did rubbish removal and gardening services if asked.

The properties are inspected on completion and need to be of a very high standard there where other company's doing the same as we did when we started but soon got left behind and we became the no1 suppler to the MOD in our area this was down to a first class service.
It may pay to go and find the housing officer on the married quarter estate they all have one of the house as there office and it would pay to go and introduce your self to them as its them that would be in inspecting your work on completion.

and all this talk of white glove inspections is a load of tosh.....its a fantastic place to cut your teeth and make a great name for yourself which in turn will lead to fantastic opportunities when you can show people ref from the MOD.

I hope this is a help if you need any more info then please just ask

Best regards

Matt
