« on: July 06, 2009, 04:30:48 pm »
Cleaned my first canabis factory today in Glasgow hell of a job even for drug dealers these were dirty bas--rds wouldnt even use my own vacuum cleaner on it it was that bad never smelled anything like it before took me over an hour to vacuum it  there was glass everywere when it got raided the dealers smashed the patio doors in the living room and tried to jump from the balconey as it was only one up best thing about was the keys were in the doors they must of been to stoned to open them. The flats were nice new builds anyway took me 3 hours and it was cream carpets to but they came up realy well.

What did you use to clean it Darren?

I did one a few months ago and couldnt shift it much at all. New carpets went down.

i have a lot of landlords on my books who i fit carpets for, funnily enough, over the past 6 months ive cleaned 5 properties that have been used as cannabis factories...not all of them have been heavily soiled but the smell in the carpets has been overpowering.first time ive used a heavy duty mask during cleaning.apparently, the profits from growing it, far outweigh the punishment for being caught.

I did one last saturday, in a very upmarket 6 bedroom house! out of the whole house there was only one bedroom and one ensuite worth us cleaning! the rest of the house was trashed! even all the fitted bedrooms were warped with the heat and moisture! holes cut in the ceilings for the venting system and the lounge was about a foot deep with soil as they didn't even put the plants in pots in that room.....just planted them on the carpet!!! :o

Hi

Wih cannabis the residue feom smoking it etc is not just in the carpets, it's on all the furnishings, walls, curtains in fact everything is coated in it.

The whole place has to be neutrlised, this can be done by first fogging the place and left for a few hours and then start cleaning.

Regards

Darren I'd love to be running about anywhere these days, can hardly walk. My son was there and his take on events was poor police tactics which antagonised a normally well behaved football support by making stupid decisions.

I've been happy to clean both Celtic and Rangers players carpets over recent years and still do although none are playing any more.
