spotter pouch
« on: June 27, 2009, 01:02:20 pm »
i'm looking for a sort of belt pouch for carrying spotter bottles etc, the trousers i wear have a pocket on the thigh which is ok until the bottle leaks, eco spotter on your cloathes can make you a bit high in this hot weather!! not looking for a mega size thing, just enough for say one bottle.
anyone use something like i need, if so, where can i buy from?

mike, i suppose so, really asking what others use if anything, i guess a bumbag is along the right lines but the wrong shape perhaps, bottle needs to stand upright really, i have a mate who carries a little bucket into the property with 3 or 4 different items in it, brush, cloth, spotter etc but when i tried that i kept leaving them at the property and not getting them back, hence looking for something that can go onto your belt,

I did a 3rd floor flat last week and have a day sack rucksack for my odds and sods which is quite small and you still have your hand free to carry other stuff.

Someone on here a month or so ago came up with the idea of attaching two of those cycle drink holder thingys to your wand.

It stuck in my mind as I usually carry my spotter while working by attaching the trigger in my trouser pocket. It's damng forever falling off!!

I know exactly the sort of thing you mean Colin like a tool belt but for say 2 or so spotter bottles, I have thought this too, lets hope one of our suppliers/manufactures are reading.

sent for the drinks holder from the site suggested by 'r' and can report it's the dogs doo dahs, it has a velcro strap supposed to go 'round your belt which is ok but i just attached it to the wand handle to one side and it doesn't get in the way and is perfect size for one spotter bottle!!
