Trad w/c trying to explain wfp to custie.
« on: June 24, 2009, 07:15:59 pm »

I'm trad. Went to do a 1st clean for a new custie today. The actual house a doddle. Her cons however is massive and very green and the finials are black. Wouldn't be happy taking it on in cool cloudy weather but with the hot sun today...not a chance of a remotely good result.

So there's me who has never even seen wfp in action (apart from on-line demos) trying to explain to a 70ish year old spinster how she needs to get a w/c who has wfp to do the cons....and then trying to explain what it was.

Oh what I didn't know about tds, pure water, resin, omnipoles, brushes...I think I actually sounded quite impressive ;D

I sort of got the impression after my speil that she thought I was BS'ing her...also got the impression I won't be invited back ::)

Trad, hot sun and conservatories...bad mixture!

When you do go over simon you will give yourself such a kicking for being an obstinate mule headed fool all these years. You obviously grasp it, just don't believe the potential.

When i started on this forum a very well respected guy was just changing over.He had been trad 11 years. On day four (he gave a daily account) he had his best day ever. And that was just the start.
Think about it, eleven years, against four days.

I'm not meaning to get this into one of those pointless arguments, and you've given your happy as you are reasons before, but you are a popular well liked member of the forum simon, and i'm trying to help.

You sweetheart  :-*

It's not that I'm an Armish Boy it's just in Putney SW London parking in the same street as the house you're doing is a rarity...let alone right outside.

Round here it's ladders only I'm afraid.

Round here if a window is too high...well it just don't get done!

I've looked into backpacks and they're not really practical.

Look at the business opportunity for this alone! Perfect for backpacks or trolleys,
It's a game of three halves!

I remember your changover. You were grumpy. we advised bigger tank etc.

You've done pretty well since, but you didn't always believe the rest of us were telling the truth.

simon, soon as you tell them there frames are cleaned at the same time as cleaning the glass, and it costs no extra, they are very happy and everything else goes right over there head, they just want there windows cleaned,

You WERE lying to me, the earning potential is far better than anyone on here said with the pole :D
