Health and safety in London
«

Spent the weekend in London at the Hilton Hyde Park. Watched a windowcleaner about five storeys up in another street climbing out of the window and standing on a ledge cleaning merrily away.
How long has London been the capital of every culture apart from the English

I saw a photo somewhere of some dodgy fella cleaning the Girkin, seemed a happy chappy though even smiling for the camera

couldn't see a landyard - just seemed to be climbing out of sash windows, closing them and then blading.

I've seen that often enough in Edinburgh. Seems to be standard practice there.
