Has any one come across this its like it has been scrawled on the glass with some sort of glass frosting pen, it wont scrape off and i have tried various lime scale and graffiti removers.

Looks like someone has used some sort of acid mixture to do that. Otherwise it could be scraped off? Never seen that over here.

ive got a scrach away machine that gets scraches out of glass so should get this off if you are near surrey you could use it paul

Hi Paul, how do you find the scratch away machine, is it any good and does it leave the glass close to new looking. I have been thinking of getting one.

Mate, Don't waste your money. You can have mine if you want it, make me an offer! Cost me £550 and I used it once. It took me 4 hours to remove scratch and leaves glass slightly smudged (like handprint).

have you tried acetone or white spirit?

i had a look into it, and your only hope is the glass scratch remover, or replace the glass
