ordered a pole from this company asked for it without hose or brush they sent it without any holes in to thread my hose through had to drill my own holes as they refused to accept any blame for sending me a pole without  any holes every other pole ive bought from other companies like this came with holes already drilled  should i have stated this when ordering.

If you bought it from a water fed pole company then I would assume that the necessary holes would be there. It's a bit much expecting folks to do a bit of DIY on what was probably described as a water fed pole!

in reply to alan wilsons comments i was just making people aware that if they order poles from this company then they will have to drill their own holes and in my opinion you shouldnt have to do that they do supply waterfed poles so should be aware that when you buy one without brush and hose then its common sense to have holes in to thread your wfp hose through.

They wear about the same as that cheese with the holes in it. Had I have had one made of real cheese I could have used the holes already in it. (and it probably would have lasted longer)

If buying a wfp it should have the needed modifications done to it already, maybe in there terms it says blank pole have no holes drilled but I doubt it.

I think it is a good post and will help other should they order the same and want the holes pre drilled. So for that

Cleaning spot poles (the glass extel ones) now come with angle adapters with a hole drilled in it - like the gardiner ones , simplest solution if your not too handy with a drill is to also buy an angle adapter (with hole in) around £3

You don't have to drill holes in the pole because there is a hole in the thread piece where the angle adapter screws in,just drill a hole in the angle adapter as some are pre drilled already.
