Glue

Anyone from the Truro area recommend a good glue for the thread on my SLX, only mine came out today. Stuck it back in with some superglue used on S2 rubber rings. Would that be ok? Anyone know.

By some weird coincidence I am from this approximate area and I happen to know a little about the SL-X. It may well be OK, personally I would recommend either a two-pack epoxy resin or 'No-Nails'. Failing that ring a firm in the 'St.Austell' area tomorrow who may be able to send out a pack of acrylic resin.

That was lucky. I'll see how it goes, I almost live next door to a B&Q so I can easily get some. Just wasn't sure what to use. Thanks for that un-biased advice  ;)

Cold weld or any other 2 part glue like araldite.
Reaching parts traditional window cleaners can not reach.

My SLX slipped after about three weeks and I used a twin epoxy (araldite) which is what I used to great success on my carbon fishing pole.

Eventually if it gets wet you'll probably have to do it again in a few months, but hey ho!

If I'd realised Alex would send me a freebie I would have asked! ;D
It's a game of three halves!
