Hi I've been doing domestics on my own now for a while. But now with the phone ringing and more work coming in my partner said he will jump on board with me for one day a week and we will do the cleans together.  My only concern is would a "couple" put people off?  Im pricing one up tonight and not sure whether to go on my own and just explain I work in pairs or take my partner with me so at least she is introduced to both of us.  What do you guys do?  any ideas, greatly appreciated.

Hi, I would presume that the customer would be contacting you because you are a company rather than employing their own cleaner. Therefore, it is up to you how many people you put on the job. Tell the customer you work in pairs and the hourly rate is per person. This should not matter to the customer because if say they require 4 hours cleaning they will have 2 people working for 2 hours each. I hope this helps

I think its better working in pairs, your in and out quicker and can get more houses done in a day together & it's nice to have someone to work with too. My husband & I worked together too doing this when we first started and the customers had no problem with it as long as a good job is done.

Thanks for replys, I went tonight and the lady was more than happy with my partner and I doing the cleaning, lets hope theirs more to come...
