What to put on a commercial quote ?
« on: May 24, 2009, 11:18:07 pm »
Doing a commercial quote now, but wondered what to put on it.

Yes i know my details, their details and a price for the cleans...

But what else do i put in there ?
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Some kind of method statement and risk assessment would be a good idea.

You would be best to put in your, Method statement, risk assement, enviomental policy, a copy of your insurance, also what you are going to do, like, we will clean the glass frames and sills etc.

I would also give a brief history of your company and supply testomonials from some of your client as well.

Remember with commercial quotes it not only you who are quoting, so the more information you give the better you will look.

I never put the RA and MS in, unless ive been given the job - waste of time doing it - unless you guys are just putting in a generic one, and not actually tailored to the job at hand.

I always advise i will return to the site once the quote has been agreed to go over H&S with them, then provide them with a RA & MS before cleaning commences. Legally, if i was given the job, they need to advise me their emergency/evacuations procedures even if its just outside work, so i can incorporate those into the RA & MS.

Company background, Insurance Docs, Training Docs, Testimonials from other commercial jobs, Contract (if they dont have one for me to sign, they have one of mine to sign).
