Alltec's reputation is solid as far as i'm concerned, and when I upgrade the Alltec will be the way I go after considering the scorpion and perfect heat, i've used them for years. The smaller recovery tank was an observation not a criticism as up to that point I just assumed it would be similar to the pro-plus and I was surprised.

Iam surprised that they did not completely overhaul the design of the new machine, as this is based on the old Ashcombe elite. Not that it will affect the running of it. The Cleansmart machine looks like it has been designed from scratch, much more up to date.

According to the website the TV upgrades pump to 200 or 600 psi only,
not sure which machine has 1200 psi

so is it £2697 + upgrade to 600 pump + vat

I take it the triple vac with the 600 pump will be about 3K + the vat then

At that price i will be sticking with my recoil and inline heater, heat and 3 vacs all the time  ;)

am a northerner, wouldnt pay 2697 and have no permanent heat

9 times out of 10 customers water is hot 40-60 degrees
prespray carpet start machine and vac out with heater off seems a bit pointless

ok water temp drops at carpet, but if you spraying and extracting you still cant turn on heater  :o :o
