no not the humourous only fools and horses character, but a trigger on your pole!

do many of you guys use them?

I have one fitted on my everyday pole and find it great, then yesterday i had to use my longer pole which dosent have a trigger and found it a nightmare!! water running everywhere, i felt under pressure to try and get finished so i could get back and switch the pump off!
whereas with the trigger its a leisurely stroll around without wasting water!

I can only say I fully agree, I cannot live without it, and I cannot imagine how people use a wfp without it! Water going everywhere, even if you use a hip valve. With this, it's off in a split second, heck you can turn flow on and off between georgian panes if you wanted too.

Every time I use the SL2 with a valve, I find it a fiddly pain.

The Numatic George trigger is in my opinion the best. No sore fingers or anything, it's perfectly ergonomically designed.

i have never seen the point of them or a hip placed valve

turn on pump, clean front

turn off pump

walk around rear

turn on pump

clean rear

turn off pump

but then again i use a trolley so its easy for me

you def don't need a trigger when using a trolley, there crap in my opinion

You could do twice as much with a trolley and trigger.

You might want to add the line :

* Spraying water everywhere, wasting water* in lines 1 and 5.

i have a trolley and also use a trigger! i have about 30 metres of hose from my pump ,which means i dont have to move my trolley around much and using the trigger , saves me water and also running back and forward turning my pump off.  would be without my trolley nowadays

I did have a trolley with a 60M reel of microbore on it and a trigger on the pole, and Ive also had a trolley without the trigger; you definately benefit from a trigger if you use a trolley and you definately benefit if you dont use a trolley.

Always used a trigger, saves alot of water. Having trouble finding a new one tho, the guy on Ebay who used to sell them for £15 inc P+P has stopped doing them, and the cheapest I can find is about £25

well if you have a trigger on ur pole and trolley set up, u dont have to keep returning to your trolley to turn ur pump off,when you need to move your trolley , also when moving from one window to the next , there is no water coming from your pole.
