metal ceiling tiles

can anyone suggest a chemical to clean perforated metal ceiling tiles, and the best/safest mothod.

Alan,  do you have a photo ? Are they stainless steel ? are they laminated and if so whats the filling ? Can you get them down ? Are they in a kitchen ?

Got to give the guy a price on thursday, haven't seen them yet. just wanted to get a head start on the costing.

I'd guess they'll be stainless steel so a phosphoric acid based product or a foaming product. I'd have to see the job to be honest. If you can take them down then its only the frame to clean by hand but if its a kitchen you'll need to use food safe products to be safe. These jobs can never be cheap
