Had the Yell.com rep round recently. They are now doing a video facility whereby they send out a film crew with you for a day i think and film you, then make a 1 minute film. You then get a link to click on, on your ad to view the video clip. Interesting I thought. But the charge is about £1100

Yell.com is one of the best way to throw your money away. Absolute waste of time along with there 118 247 service.
If people want to find a CC online they simply type in "Carpet cleaning london" for eg into there search engine. Not go on to the yell site first.
Its pants tried it for a few years and got nowt!!

As I understand it there are different levels of advertising in Yell.com for different costs which can therefore make a difference as to whether it works or not.

I know Pete Sweeney gets a lot of work from it and he has several other cc's who have followed his lead and think it's a pretty good return on their advertising.

Having looked at it further the other week it's something I am going to have to re-consider.
