If you looking for a sprayer to use in conjunction with your new truck mount I would get the Hydraforce.
When Clinton came to have a play with my Scorpion and tm he was gobsmacked at how quick an area can be sprayed - and with a bit of force too, ie read agitation!
They are expensive, about £180 - pity really Paul Asworth had one for sale until yesterdays ccdo (£75)

Ive been using the Hudson 18 litre electric sprayer its brilliant a bit big and bulky but you dont have to mess about pumping it up also still on the first charge and had it over a month.

It's about productivity, time management, efficiency, but...........to get the benefit, you need to be busy enough otherwise you're just using more product than you probably need to.

Even prespraying with water can have a surprising effect

when i first started i went straight to b n q for a sprayer £9.99 or something like that, waste of money mate, buy a decent one and save time, i could spray a whole 3 bed house before youve done 1 carpet with a hydraforce and put twice as much down, don't throw your b n q ones away though, there good for regular spotters or odour control substances. get a decent sprayer and see the benefits.

yeah alan, straight on to the solution hose, could have 1000 psi pre spray if i wanted but i wouldn't advise it ;D
i prespray at 200 to 300 psi with very hot water, does the job, sure it would work on a portable but you'd use a fair bit of your water, still be quicker than standard pre spraying though and with a heater your getting hot prespray down.

Many modern products require spraying the product in a mist followed by a dwell time or / and agitation followed by rinse / extraction with or without a rinsing agent .

Overspraying prespray can be wasteful potentially damaging if not fully rinsed out.

Using sledgehammers to crack nuts is very very rarely necessary.

Your right what you say Robert.
The knack with the hydraforce is to keep moving the wand at a brisk pace so you cover everywhere but not overly.
Benefit of the HF is that the prespray is after the pump - be it a TM or porty your using. No pump contamination.
Rinse with clean water - good for the pump, good for the carpet. Less residue of cleaning fluid left in carpet. Good selling point especially if you are still backwards at coming forward and you use detergents  ;D

i don't use my hydraforce for upholstery, got an orion for that, and i certainly dont overspray, i'm just trying to explain how efficient and fast it can be.
