Question Number 2 ....

Im stuck in the house tomorrow awaiting a couple of couriers

Knowing full well that one will come first thing and the other will come as late as possible, I cant get out to do some knocking & leaflet distribution as i hoped to.

To turn what could be a very un-productive day into a productive one I have decided to contact letting agents, estate agents & builders about the possibility of getting work on properties they deal with.

I know most of these will be one off cleans, but money is money at the moment and you never know, I might pick up some regulars who spot me or see a flyer i have posted while im there.

Has anyone contacted any of the above as regards to window cleaning ? How did you put across your services to them ? What was the responce like ?

Anyone with any other ideas of how to turn a day inside into a productive day i would be gratefull of your advice.

Thanks,

JP

You could stay home and do your books. Its April 5th next week end of tax year. Wash your van, mow the lawn, prune the roses, paint the shed. Be a record poster and post as many replies as you can on here. Vacuum the house, mop the floor. The ist is endless. I'm off now till Friday but I have a new kitchen to fit. Well try to anyway.

Books are all up to date thanks to my loving wife  :)

House and jobs around the house can wait.... i want to try to get as many customers as i possibly can.

Oh and i dont have a van (YET), the lawn gets kept down by the dog who eats grass like a sheep, i kill all plants (think its called neglect), you can only mop and vacum so much.

Thinking of contacting local cleaning companys. Just had a look at the website of one and they offer inside window cleaning... might see if i can strike up a deal to get them to offer window cleaning to there existing customers and i'll do it for  them. Got to be worth a try atleast i reckon.

Didnt get round to it in the end. Not sure what i did as the days are merging into one at the moment. Im up at 7 and in bed for 12/1am and working straight through.

I have had a guy who develops houses contact me though for what you could call a builders clean before he lets it out. Said if i did a good job he would put it in the contract for tennants to use me so long as it was a reasonable price and use me on future developments.

All from a black and white A6 leaflet i knocked together in 10 mins !!!
