im surprised you are having to change the clamps often ive never had tochange mine and the pole is as old as yours , the slx is as good as facelift , tony MACMAC who comes on here did a good write up on which pole was better facelift or the slx as hes used both and he rated the slx .

Cleartech...are you talking about a c/f pole...if so...I doubt there is anything on the market that will rival your Facelift pole for lenght of use (time).

Carbon fibre is a great material but it does suffer from wear and tear...but on the plus side it has some many positive qualities.

I have both a Facelift c/f 44ft and a SL-X and they are both fantastic poles but yes both suffer from wear issues in different ways.

But for me...I have now come to realise that wear is just a part of things...I doubt there is anything out there in the market place that does not wear to some extent.

Cheers
Dave.

ps...bet that pole has earnt you some good money eh?

I have purchased the 35ft carbon FaceLift at the Cleaning Show and all my collegues have already tested it. Very good pole and clamps are really brilliant.

Ive just got the 44ft carbon facelift and i have to say im really impressed, took it to a mates yesterday whose been wfp since the beginning and will point out every bad thing a manufacturer does with a item and he couldnt with this pole, think he may get one himself, also found facelift service excellent if anyone has any problems with a facelift item im sure Russel Oxley will sort it out for them as he was really helpful to me,

please could i ask as i have never used a facelift do you find that the sections slide down by themselves when working with clamp wearing down  , how long is the first section, do you find the jets give sufficent water and the brush cleans well
