Same as
Tulsion resin seems to last forever especially as i have soft water already(25-35ppm)
And Doug gets it delivered in 1-2 days

Brodex is only £80 (inc vat & post!) if you buy it off tinternet (lot more if you ring em). Still not "cheap" but then what is these days. Always decent stuff though. There not as quick on delivery, but I'd rather save the tenner & wait a couple of days ;)

I'm another fan of Doug's. Great service and fast delivery. Excellent product too - in this case if it's more expensive then it's worth the money.

i use Purolite Resin from window cleaning warehouse also 69+ VAT. Ive heard Dowex is pretty good too

did you see at the cleaning show £50 bags also on ebay other week big blue barrels £90
like to know if any good could always use barrels in back of van tie them up with rope

When you buy a product ask what spec it is , how many litres per 100ppm.

Then do the maths price per litre and then you will know what product suits your pocket.

Mixed bed resin comes in many forms from 4000l to 7000l per 100ppm.

You may think you are getting a bargain but end up with a 4000l per 100ppm bag.

And be very careful mixed bed resin comes in two forms, one is for water purification the other will kill all your customers plants.

Now this will confuse a lot of suppliers as they probably have never seen a spec before. ;) ;D

The window cleaning trade and water trade use hydrogen fromat resin which will not kill plants.

Now if someone who had no knowledge bought the wrong format of mixed bed resin, sold onto window cleaners then yes there would be problems. Don't quote me on this as cannot find the brochure but the other format is sulphuric which is used in other industries.
