hi i have been using george since jan and am pretty pleased with it but there are a few annoying things which i wonder if it is possible to change

1 i have set out all my rounds but i would like to have the debts list in rounds too is this possible, i have got 102 debts and no matter which i use in the prefferences in pocket george they are still in an awkwaud order

2 when i put my customers in order they dont stay in that order ,is there any way to lock them into the order i choose

any help would be appreciated

thanx

On the first question you cant put the debts in round order i find the easiest way is to have them alphabetical it does sometimes mean scrolling through till you find the debt but its the easiest way as long as you know your alphabet  ;)

For your second question try system/round order then select the round you want

Sorry I can't help you on that!
I do remember some threads on Window Cleaner Pro, basically rubbish-ing George because of problems like yours (not sure if exact problems) but worth a look!

W/C with complex rounds seem to prefer wc pro, from what I gather, as it is a better program!
George for me though! ;)

If it's a simple round you have George will do nicely!
However the only drawback that I can see is it's not on a windows platform, it uses palm software,
(this is dated and may well go the way of Betamax tapes... remember them?)

You cant sort the debts into route order, buy you CAN catagorise them into individual rounds, which will make scrolling through your depts a lot easier!

Your debts are set into 2 catagories by default - "Cash Collection" & "Invoiced Items". All you need to do is change them to whatever you want eg Round1, Round2 Round3 or Area1, Area2 etc

I dont think it will catagorise your existing depts, but will take effect from the next time the job is done.
