These sadle tanks have been about for years a lot of carpet cleaners use them with there truckmounts i no a guy thats got one hes been using it for years with no problems.

Two on both sides perhaps, but one tank on one side isn't very smart.

Only uses one as do most carpet cleaners 350 litres is plenty for a truckmount like i said Prochem and all the big carpet cleaning companies sell loads of these as they save a lot of space if there were any safety problems they wouldnt sell them saying that my mates is only 250 i think.

So hold on, you've got 250Kg+ loaded onto pretty much one wheel, and you say there aren't any safety problems?

I would give a hundred pounds to see that do a handling test on a skid pad.

Checked their website, and nowhere does it give any info on that, regardless, I'm sure they sell them with their systems, but then one on each side.

Plus, you can't really say, just because they sell them they are safe to use in any way you like it? Every supplier sells tanks, but not every user installs them correctly.

One saddle tank on one side destroys the handling, and just for that reason it's not safe. Imagine doing an emergency evasive manoeuvre  , that saddle tank on one side will feel like pulling the handbrake.

As you can see here, you need one on both sides (scroll down) :

250 kg isnt that much of a wieght though

you could have a rather large overweight person sat in the back of your car, they would have to sit 1 side of the car as it will have a 3 point seat belt, the person could weight 250 KG , yes the car would lean to that side, it wouldnt be unsafe though

Are you serious that one person could weigh 250kgs
250 kilos is 551 lbs or nearly 39 1/2 stones
How many people do you know that size are all the pie shop owners in your area millionaires  ;D
