i have a berlingo, tanks held in by rachet straps so i just drain and whip it out for the mot.half hour job at most.

My van was mot'd in June and i had a full 650 litre tank.

i just guess how much i need day before then take mine in as light as poss
take as much takle out of van then let it go in .

the heavier the van is, the more is will show up defects on the suspension ( esp at the rear )

Ive been in loads, pretty much everytime with both vans full up and mot'd no prob

i unload as much as possible dont want to get caught out with problems , or poss overloading

I also drain and remove tank, gives me a chance to find out any horrors lurking underneath the tank.

Crikey, just picked the van up - tad under £400 for a sevice, mot and a new gaiter on driveshaft.
