I have a few custies that never stop chatting. Don't get me wrong I'll chat to anyone about almost anything but some just don't realise that you have a living to make. If they have paid you then the trick is to keep walking backwards as you speak to them. But if they have money in their hand and still chatting after 10 mins then what can you do? Time is money.

you'll need one of those bags fitted, I know what they are called but just cant spell it. I dropped a customer for this once, its should have taken 5 mins tops, smallest job in the world, and probably shouldn't have taken it on anyway, but did none the less. I knew I was spended longer that I should there but didn't realize how long untill I timed myself one day, job took about 3 mins, plus 3 mins setup, its was just a couple of windows she wanted done. total time 30 mins.

So that was that, I never returned.

I have one, who pays very well, always tips etc, but the time spent trying to move on is still unprofitable so i go last even though its a bit of a pain, its less of a waste then wasting the day, at least when you go then you can say sorry - home time now!! On the bright side though she brews up and does toast and al kinds, so go for dinner some times

We never refuse a cup of tea thats unless the previous cup was served up in a cup that had never seen a sink and washing up liquid. In that case its a polite no I've only just had one up the road.

if the kitchen is a disgrace i always politly  refuse a cup of tea,otherwise always open to one 

Mind you there's one old girl whose tea I once had...God only knows what was in the mug but it certainly wasn't tea, but standing there in the kitchen I felt obliged to at least drink some of the revolting brew. Now I give it the "thanks all the same love but I've just had one up the road".
