With some concerns about trading conditions, I've been trying to remember what I did when there was a downturn in trading in the past...........

We actually "sacked" slow payers who were unwilling to pay within 28 days
We asked for cash, for all relatively small jobs
We offered additional services
We otherwise, did what we always did

What we "always did" was;-

Turn up on time
Be pleasant and well mannered
Do a damn good job.

may be a good idea to ask the clients when your cleaning to get the hall and stairs as an extre when you there for a little extra ???

I have done this on a few jobs after xmas :)

ALWAYS worth asking Clinton, especially as you're already in the house and set up!
