throw yourself off your ladders. it's amazing the change in attitude to wfp that will get you ;D
since i started wfp 3 weeks now, i have had to go back on about 5 jobs. the thing is, the streak is pretty much always under the vent. it's just practice, and people are impressed that you go back to fix the prob.
wfp is best choice i made. go for it :D

It will get better.

Personally I avoid cleaning the vents where as others on here say to give the vents a thorough clean on the first go. I guess that is choice.

Anyway, you can still clean the frames and avoid the vents with technique.

In time you will realise that WFP when you first start is like trying to sign your name with a paintbrush...

...soon it will be like signing it with a silver plated fountion pen!

You do have to know about and be aware of the problems associated with milky frames. Virtually all the complaints I have had are because of this.

Same here, I almost always do the bottoms traditionally, and tops wfp. I find it's quicker that way, without having to worry about messing it up.

My only complains were from those customers. If you know what your doing, you can do them wfp.

My experiences with milky frames is that give them a bloody good scrub and rinse on the ifrst clean.

It is the bristles that cause the residue to come away from the frames, so so long as you dont go overboard afterwards on subsequent visits with the brush on the frame and just let any water flow over them then your okay, just done disturb the frames unnecessarily after the first visit.

In other words, once you stop scrubbing milky frames and start rinsing htem then your beginning to solve the milkiness issue.

you  mean the ones that need painting
Especially if paint is oxidized. Also sometimes with painted rendered walls the paint oxidizes in the sun and rain washes it onto windows. Have a few like this and have to go over them twice to remove spots.

Just keep your water at 000 levels, clean the frames really well on the first wash, and just go over them after that every time, it really dont take that much more water, and your customers will be happy everytime.... ;D
